Sticktight Akins

Born in the heart of Kentucky, Ernie "Sticktight" Akins has had an infatuation for music since he started walking. The name Sticktight came from Country Music Superstar, John Michael Montgomery. When visiting John at his farm, a two year old Ernie Akins was exploring in the woods and emerged covered in sticktights. John found it humorous and said, "Boy, we're going to have to start calling you, 'Sticktight'". Since then, "Sticktight" has stuck!

Sticktight grew up listening to radio and chart topping icons such as Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, Dwight Yoakam, Charlie Daniels, Montgomery Gentry, and well as legendary Blues, Classic & Southern Rock Bands like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Molly Hatchet, George Thorogood, Stevie Ray Vaughn, etc. When performing, you can hear these influences blended into one giving Sticktight a sound of his own.

Sticktight's band is comprised of seasoned professionals, well grounded musicians with abounding years of performing experience. Their show is a high-energetic charismatic performance that entertains audiences bringing them back for more! When attending a Sticktight concert, you'll be guaranteed entertainment at it's best with a variety of music, keeping crowds on their feet dancing, ranging from Country (Top 40 and Classics), Classic/Southern Rock, Blues, and Original Music.

Rick George

Old Country Is New Again

A Pittsburgh native and current resident of Dayton Ohio, Rick draws on his experiences being born and raised along the rust belt to craft stories and songs that paint a picture of everyday life that all of us can relate to.

Making use of his influences in classic country, folk, and Americana, Rick has created a style he's proud to call his own and shares it with venues, homes, bars, and listening rooms big and small.

Rick's debut single "Drinking and Dreaming" is his take on the Waylon Jennings classic. The song was produced by Dean Miller (son of Country Music Hall Of Fame Inductee Roger Miller) and also features Melonie Cannon.

The Rick George Band will be releasing a follow up record in 2022 that won't disappoint country music traditionalists and new fans of the genre alike.
